my research paper...
To be quite honest, I have alot of work to do with my paper. I know that I am going to write it on how global warming has changed the lives of arctic animals. Then I will split into talking about polar bears and then focusing on penguins. I will then try to tie the ends up and conclude my paper. My question isn't the greatest, but here it is: How does climate change affect arctic animals-polar bears and penguins? If anyone has comments, please let me know.

Penguins and Global Warming
I've been researching global warming's effect on the penguins and their population and have found a few sites that are useful, but if anyone has any others that they are willing to share with me, I'd be open to suggestions. These are just a few of the sites that I've checked out:

I've just started looking for information, that's why I've only got 3 sources here for you. Thanks.

Economist Dies
The article Hasan Ozbekhan, 86, Economist Who Helped Found Global Group, Dies by Jeremy Pearce in the New York Times talks about Hasan's life. He starts by saying a few things about how he persuaded people to create the Club of Rome, in this club they talked and discussed global issues. The author then moves on to talk about in 1975 when Ozbekhan was working for the French government and they talked about land. As you can see Mr. Hasan Ozbekhan was very concerned with our environment.

Environmental Mind Map
This is a little Mind Map of the environment that I came up with. There is so much more that I could put on there.
"Nature Girl"
There recently was an article in the New York Times entitled "Nature Girl" written by Elizabeth Royte. In this article the girl talks about how she likes animals, plants, and wilderness of any form. She continues to talk about her love for nature.

Food for Thought
There is a animation created by some middle school students from Baltimore that talks about good foods to eat. Before the project they learned to make and try new foods. They also learned the importance of nutrition and a balanced diet. They promote healthy eating in their neighborhood, by making a poster that talks about the importance of a well balanced diet; including the benefits. If you want to see the video and read the article you can find it at, http://www.mediathatmattersfest.org/mtm_good_food/food_for_thought/

The Environment and Issues
It seems like everywhere you go there is garbage on the ground. If people would just use the trash cans then our world wouldn't be such a mess! Often times anaimals get tangled up in our trash. There is even a problem with people dumping garbage in water sources. This is a hazard to fish and other marine life. Animals are a source of food to us, so we need to respect them and save them.
Air pollution is a big deal now too. There are numerous factories that put smog and other harmful substances into the air. Even some cars have really dark exhaust coming out of their tail pipes.
There is a huge amount of people that smoke cigarettes. This is not only harmful to their health, but to those around them.
There is so much that we can do to help make our environment more enjoyable, if people would just try using their brains.
